What we actually do
Sessions run 60–90 minutes and focus on your specific file, your specific problem — not a general tutorial. Before each call, you send your project files so time isn't wasted on setup.
Software covered includes Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, ZBrush, and Substance Painter. Pipeline questions, render optimization, and geometry troubleshooting are the most common requests.
Modeling Review
Topology audit for hard-surface and organic meshes. Edge flow, pole placement, subdivision readiness — checked against your actual geometry, not a sample file.
Render Setup & Optimization
Lighting rigs, material node trees, and render settings adjusted for your output target — print, web, or real-time. Render times reduced by fixing sampling inefficiencies.
Pipeline & Export Guidance
FBX, GLTF, USD, OBJ — format-specific export settings matched to your downstream application. Includes unit scale, axis orientation, and material baking workflows.
Rigging & Animation Checks
Skeleton hierarchy review, weight painting corrections, and deformation problem-solving. Character and mechanical rigs handled separately — different constraints, different issues.
Texturing & UV Layout
UV unwrapping strategy, seam placement, and texel density for 4K maps. Substance Painter layer structure and baking errors covered in dedicated 45-minute segments.
Software Selection Advice
Comparing DCC tools against your actual project requirements — budget, output format, team size. No advocacy for any one platform; the answer depends on your use case.
How a session is structured
Each consultation starts with a 10-minute file review before the call begins — you share your project via WeTransfer or Google Drive. Questions are sent in advance so the session skips diagnosis and goes straight to solutions.
Sessions are recorded and sent to you within 24 hours. Written notes summarizing key decisions and settings are included as a plain text document alongside the video.
File submission & brief
Send your project files and a short description of the problem — 3 sentences is enough.
Pre-session review
Files are examined before the call; a focused agenda is prepared so no time is spent on orientation.
Live 60–90 min session
Screen-share consultation via a platform you choose. Questions, corrections, and live demonstrations.
Recording & notes delivered
Full session recording plus written summary dispatched within 24 hours of the call ending.
